I'm Not A game

I'm not going to sit here

and wait for you to make your next move.

I'm not going to be part of your game.

I thought you loved me?

I though I was your everything?

I though you needed me?

These are all the thoughts I have

that run through my head,

When I'm in the middle of your

Stupid Selfish games.

This time I'm not going to let you break me

I'm not going to play in your hand

I'm not going to be here for you to

break me in half.

No I don't need you.

Your a waste of my time

I'm sorry I even had you

Or thought you loved me

I was to blind to see

Now you think I'm

Gonna fall for your games again

But you wanna know something.

I hope y'all like my poem.. I recently had problems with my life and I wrote this poem to tell how I felt going through it. I hope to see many good comments. But if I see bad. im willing to take it. Thank you for your time!

i do like the poem. i noticed, your writes are direct, and there's no need for guessing what it all is about behind the fancy descriptions.

simple, in the good way.

i noticed something ...
after the " I thought you loved me?" line, there are two lines missing a 't' in the word "thought"
anyway, i give a hundred points.

Yea I do.. thank you for saying that.. But right now im on my own with dealing with my family of my feelings.. My dad doesn't listen to me anymore and it hurts.. Everytime I go to tell him about my new school, he never listens. my other sibs are more important at this time.. But thank you again for your review! :)

Just keep your head up and remember at the end of the day you are working on you and it doesn't matter if it's family, friends or strangers... they can't bring you down. Some people will be there for your journey more than others but keep the focus that you are building your future and don't let negative energy ruin that for you :)

saying goodbye and meaning it can be difficult for sure ... one can easily be played because of hope for things to work out .. and guys can be pretty unethical when it comes to commitments (sorry to say) ... men sometimes never mature emotionally ... and they want it ..but are terrified of it .. so honest hearts are "played" ... sounds like you know what to do ... and good for ya! :)

Thank you so much for your kind words. But I didn't write this for my fiancé.. It was for my mother... And I know I might be young But I know how I feel and I love him.. I wanna be with my fiancé. oh dear friend .. i do not presume to try and change your mind .. i was just commenting and thought perhaps it was a misprint ... Jesus' blessed Mother was around 12 when she married ... i would try and tell her what to do either ;) sound like you may be experiencing some resistance from family about your marriage :( i never would have guessed this poem is about your relationship with your mom ... i am so sorry ... if it has been good between you this far it is very tragic that communication is now going south :(( for what it is worth ..if my 15 yr. old daughters came to me about getting married the fire works would be going off ... but after the show when things settle we would still be working on it ... Dr. Phil says the best way for parents to ensure that a daughter or son will cement the decision to be with someone ..is to oppose it without listening ... God bless my friend!! i hope as things move along in your life you will continue to post your poetry ... perhaps the "happy ening is just around the corner :)))
