The Love Letter (2008)

This is my favoroute of my old collection. Its a love poem but its not for anyone or directed to anyone, I just got bored one day and wrote it. Thanks.

The Love Letter

 

The letter I sent was private,

The letter I sent was for you,

The letter you sent back to me,

I didn’t have a clue.

 

What did you means P.T.O?

But now I understand,

Let’s just not go.

 

When I wrote back a smudge showed up,

I hope you can read,

It isn’t my luck.

Normally my letters are so posh and fine,

But this smudge made is feel so divine.

 

My words were,

Meet me,

At the old school bell,

But just like always you didn’t show up,

So I fell.

 

In deep despair,

That this is my last letter,

To you my darling who just deserved better.

Author's Note

This is my best one of my old collection in my opinion. I enjoyed writng it again and then re-reading it. It gives off the good feeling of compassion people have for one another. What do you think? Thanks.
