Men Do Not Need UsA Poem by Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-We are our own enemy!Through
the valley of the shadows, I see
many things have changed. The
shadows are pale so badly, Even
potent Death seeming strange.
‘O
Dreadful lord, what befell you? You've
been lurking here for long, Where's
your might, that fills the night, And the
hearts of men right along.
Why all
the shadows are weakened, Why
aren't they conquering men? I know
men have not become saints And will
never abandon sin.’
His
majesty stood tall and looked, At me down
his black awful throne, His eyes
enkindled of deep red, All the
shadows left us alone.
‘O
mortal, men do not need us, They
need no shadows or daemons, We’re
better here far and alone,
For men hold
the worst of evils. © 2013 Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-Author's Note
