My angel is now asleep

A chant

My angel is now asleep,
In a world peaceful and deep.
God is watching over her,
Bedecks her head with splendor.

Into cluster seas of dreams,
Into stars with endless gleams,
To a world with no sadness,
Anguish, crying, and darkness.

With angels of hope and light,
In providence and delight;
She breaks walls of time and space,
Creates her magical grace.

In fields of roses and blooms,
Under spells of million moons;
She plays her favorite song,
Dances on its tone for long.

As her smile and laughter shine,
In a manner so divine;
Thousand light-years slip away,
While she was caught in her play.

Hidden chimes toll in the sky,
Mark her going and goodbye,
Then she does wake up and rise,
To find me right at her eyes.

My angel is now asleep,
In a world peaceful and deep,
Sleep! I will be always near.
There is nothing for to fear…
