Sonnet XXII – Good timesA Poem by Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-Why do good times pass through rapidly? And clock’s pointers do race each other. Why does time flee when in serenity, Our souls swim, and our hearts and laughs scatter?
But when hardship blots out, time lies glacial And clock’s pointers are so frigid in place For sorrow leaks as we grow so fragile And our minds go insane in time and space
Although good times of joy wear out so fast But they dwell with us deep within our heart We recall the untamed laughter of past And warm smiles crack down the murkiest dark
I guess good times have their own cosmos Where there is no hurt, pain, sadness or lose
