Sonnet XIX – A will of a martyrA Poem by Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-If you are reading this, then I have wilt But do not mourn me or shed needless tears For god I fought, and for his name I’m dead Just resound my virtues, my erstwhile dears
Do not be sad, O beloved mother I’m now in Allah’s devoted embrace Along my dauntless hero, my father In grand, perpetual and peerless grace
And for my good brothers in arms and blood Dry my veins till the very last enraged drop Let them mingle and add to the astir flood And deluge those tyrants until they drop
For my darling, if it eases your bane I’ll wait for you here till we meet again
