Sonnet XVIII – Rainbow in the darkA Poem by Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-Don't we all?I dream of a rainbow amidst this dark, Where I may escape to its imbued end, Where there’s nothing to anguish or cark, And all my sempiternal wounds may mend.
In a quaint land beyond mind or logic, Where all the weary, sad ravens may shed; The dreary, malicious, burning heartache, And the sore, unsounded, tears they throughout bled.
Where mermaids sing their fascinating tones, By a halcyon lake free of past or pains, And there I sleep without worries or moans, Without fear, memories or rolling banes.
I dream of a rainbow amidst this dark, Where there’s nothing to anguish or cark. © 2013 Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-Reviews
