Sonnet XIV – Sonnet of deathA Poem by Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-The title really says it!Roses are red and violets are blue, But the colour of death is brumous grey, Stained with sinning, remorse and rotted rue, The same colours of a sorrowful pray.
Roses are red and violets are blue, Life wilt fade out, and ashen sky wilt rain, And cruel bloodless death will hunt me and you, You’ll leave this earth forcefully or fain.
Roses are red and violets are blue, Although blue is the fashion of this land, Nefarious Mors has a darker hue, And none can defy his lethal command.
Roses are dead and violets are too And all your mundane days are past and through © 2013 Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-Featured Review
