Sonnet IV – TimeA Poem by Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-A way to look at life, death, and time...A storm took a Nightingale from the
sky, It tumbled on an oak and its wings
broke, But it hid amid leaves till time passed
by, As its wings healed and flew off the
Holm oak.
A blizzard blew hard inside a wolf’s
eye And the frozen tears shrouded its blurred
sight But it rested and died as time got by And its cold fur glittered with stars
at night
Time could be fatal, and could be
healing The mighty from trivial blows might
wither Yet from calamities survives the
weakling And none would live upon this earth
forever Our names are written on the note of
death And he’s deceiving, so treasure each
breath
