Passing

Passing

A Poem by CajunPoet

People driving look like sleeping zombies,
They keep on trying to pass me every day,
Perfectly pressed wearing Abercrombie,
Certainly stressed as I keep them at bay.

I speed, imagining sweet poetry,
While they miss the beauty of everything,
It seems so obscene and you all know it,
I write hoping to show what you're missing.
