In my mind I imagine embers
slowly floating above spreading flames, Dancing for me as I remember everything that was destroyed today. Charred and broken by the fires rage, Tarnished memories only remain, Darkness overtakes me like the plague, I am burned alive by my own pain. © 2014 CajunPoet |
