Arise

Arise

A Poem by CajunPoet

Sunrise sets fire to the darkest sky,
Colors spread like flames before my eyes,
Faint purple’s turning red in no time,
Red bleeds into yellow before I
realize the morning has now arrived,
My words quickly capture in my rhymes
repainting beauty that hypnotized,
an exercise to unleash my mind.

I like this, it sounds like a very vibrant sunrise. I love seeing how the sun can paint different colors in the sky as it rises or sets, both are very beautiful. I think that the two first lines are my favorite, such wonderful imagery.

Good Job
