Nothingness

Nothingness

A Poem by CajunPoet

Sitting in the wake of a new day,
the sky, stained with brilliant orange and red.
Dark clouds scattered like scars
across the morning’s canvas.

Fading with the dying night,
colors change with growing light,
only silence remains with a crimson shade
and in the wind it’s swept away.
