DawnA Poem by CajunPoetPoem about me
Quiet little Libra perched on the cusp,
blue eyes find beauty while others see rust. Waiting for sunrise with poetic lust, Though in my own mind these lines aren’t enough. Inspiration born in the depths of dreams, entwined with rhymes about all that I see. Like the purple dawn its life is so brief, amazing bittersweet things of beauty. The horizon outlined with growing light, a beautiful end to the dying night. My eyes engulfed as the sky becomes bright, a new day’s birth is a beautiful sight. © 2014 CajunPoet |
