A poem about faith and life, doubt and darkness

I see your light from the flames,
But the shadows call my name,
Though it's not me whose to blame
deep down I only feel shame.
Spreading doubt drives me insane
As it rips apart my brain,
Sometimes it's hard to contain
darkness and it's heavy stain...

I like the rhythm of this piece, also how it taps in to the raw emotions that everyone has felt at one time or another. This piece lets the reader create their own imagery as well, good job :)
