Fighting Back

Fighting Back

A Poem by Adam Clay
"

We have the power to fight reality.

"

How can we stand back and let life push us around?
And tell us what we can do?
We must fight back!
We must fight reality with impossible things.
Fight with imagination, craziness, drunkenness, stupidity!
Reality is only as strong as we make it!
We can bring it to our mercy,
The mercy of our powerful minds.

Follow the children.
Read their books.
Take every page.
See each day an adventure.
Cars are spaceships on the Milky Way.
Show logic it has no rule over you.
Don’t do anything it commands.
Don’t take out the garbage,
Jail the bad guys instead!
Stop driving
and start flying.

Look at the glow of power around you now!
Laugh at pain, because it makes you level up!
All is in your mind.
Don’t be real,
Be stupid!
