Ocean Song No. 7

Ocean Song No. 7

A Poem by Adam Greenfield
"

I think I'm finally home.

"

Sand between my toes
and finally my clothes
suit me

the salty skin-tight breeze
agrees.

I could stay here forever
with the water
rushing in
then rushing back out
only to return again

story of my life.

I help myself
down by the seashore
near the ocean floor
teeming with life
unseen before I arrived

anchor in hand
a sign

my final stand

for this is where it ends
in order to begin anew
and it’s true

home really is
where the heart feels it belongs.

Ah the great one has finally reached the end of his great journey. Stepped into the healing waters of the mighty pacific and has been re-born!

I'm extremely glad you have found were your heart is content. May the Sun shine and the tides be clean and endless for you!

Mayhaps I shall ask the winds to carry my feathers in that direction and join you for a drink with an umbrella in it. ;)
