Entry #8: It’s All Coming Back to Meow

First off, long time no meow. My grandcat died. Ok, my human ate it. No, that’s not true either. I had Cat-tail Tunnal Syndrome. Ok, ok. The truth is I really have no excuse for not writing in so long. Alo and I started working on the Meowism plan but we hit a snag and all hell broke loose. I’ll fill you in on all that in another entry in the near future.

So Two Legs came up to me today and said a couple humans asked if I was going to be writing or if I have been writing anything. As I’ve already stated above, I have not been writing. However, I think I will start writing again. There have been some crazy things going on in this place since I spoke to you all last.

(Poster’s note: Ain’t that the truth.)

One of the biggest changes is the amount of time Two Legs spends here. For a while, he would leave at the same time and come back at the same time, like clockwork. Well, sort of. He was always running around a lot when he would leave just after the sun came up and usually he looked very unhappy. I think he had defective batteries or something and I think that’s why he now just cuts out all that and stays here. In a way I don’t mind. In fact, sometimes I grace him with my presence and sit on his lap. We get some good quality time in.

(Poster’s note: Agreed.)

Another big change is the layout of this place. The things we used to jump and sleep on before-

(Poster’s note: I’m assuming Stella is talking about the furniture.)

-is all different. But I like this stuff more. In fact, I can sleep under this one sometimes because it sits on paws and legs like mine. There’s space underneath to get away from it all, and we cats need it. Humans can be very stressful sometimes.

Anycat. I’m glad to be writing again. Next time I may tell you about my newest place to test the agility and balance I possess: the top of an open door.

And now, a friendly reminder: A cat is but a small lion who socializes with humans.

I always love hearing from Stella. I can't wait to hear about all of the interesting things going on in her world. I'm jumping over to entry 9 to see the latest.
