Something About YouA Poem by Adam Greenfield
So what are you going to write about this, about what we’re doing now, you ask and I tell you only time will tell and now I guess that time has come but there’s so much and nothing to say about a chance meeting that could or could not have happened though I’m happy to have met you, to have learned your name heard your voice met another soul of similar design as mine and it’s nice to have met you just in time for this piece of work this flesh and bones and bearded makeup of a man to test myself, to take a chance on you and do something I never do or have ever done before I met you and it makes it even better to have met you that I met you that way because all I’ve seen and heard is worth the chance for one chance to spend some time in your presence under the gaze of your eyes I’ve only seen from a distance but could tell there is something about you that is so damn attractive on the inside as you are beautiful on the out and so I try to put it in words while I wait for you to call, it’s all I can do to keep myself from wondering if you were real at all. © 2008 Adam GreenfieldReviews
