VanityA Poem by AdahdzeWhen we struggle to amass , we do not think of how difficult it to lift anything with us to hereafter.
All labours
And all toils All gains We have made, So cumbersome to carry beyond What should a man struggle to get Than a good name? A name that refuses the grave Resistant to mold. This is what to leave behind The only treasure that shall not be Lost in the dust A flower of our earthly pride Glowing like a meteor Showing us the way beyond. © 2017 AdahdzeAuthor's Note
