Aortic

Aortic

A Poem by Wraith.

Strengthen your verses, verses
needles administered by nurses
nurses with black tongues

stretch your membrane til the film separate's
Now you've stuck stuck portal
Put yourself into a
The curtains are drawn and your shoes are put together
immaculately

Don't be so ridiculous said the aluminium
flexing itself in the corner
I won't listen to you aluminium you know nothing
Now I'm arguing with foil

caught the razor
kissed it quickly, my tongue running over the grooves
I don't hesitate to walk out onto the pavement
The world has a funny way of blurring and shifting
when you aren't concentrating

Enclosed by leaves and dull sky,
A small boy catches my eyes and darts away
hip hip hooray birthdays and balloons
vomit I would kill you all if only
dirt
