Television

Television

A Poem by Wraith.

I mimic the television
I've become static
Hesitating before the wires whir and heat up
Sat alone in the corner being watched
Like figure hunched up in their armchair, in my reflection
Are we all victims to technology
So impressionable yet manipulative
reeling off...

yes, we are victims of technology, i fear...

and someday we will all short circuit and there will one mass blackout...

and there will be nothing left but the wires that were our brains, just smoldering.
