I'm boring

I'm boring

A Poem by Wraith.

Let me down again
I'm tired of being tired
Put my faith in you
Faith expired

Pulverized in this bleak estate
Seeking out a mentality I'm not sure exists
You all follow a god that doesn't exist
ostracize me, I embrace my
darker days

Like a creature awaits transformation
Stalked by the dark
I leak into the infiltrating dread
Accept it as my own, carry it on my back

I'm not sure if I'm seeing things still
Taught that its wrong but what if its insight
we are not all children of this world
The universe isn't wonder, this is a tomb

this reminds me so much of Emily Dickinson and her attitude toward religion, being ostracized for not standing up in church and professing her faith, and then how she wrote so often from the perspective of the dead person with her apostrophe.
