Office.

Office.

A Poem by Wraith.

Lacking something
Something lacking
spat out thoughts
and sent them packing
Stream profanities
through funneled ears
Sweeping the membrane
File away fears

I would agree with jacob as to how the rhythm of the piece catches one's ear first--the regular beat of humdrum office days (or a slave ship, for that matter), and I think the short, sharp lines only serve to emphasize the beat. Very nice piece of work.

spit out those negative thoughts...those fears of life, send them packing.

this has such an easy beat to it...the rhythm of purging the scourging thoughts.
