Self medicated blues

Self medicated blues

A Poem by Wraith.

Powder and whiskey
Reflections doused in black
I'd uncover my loitering intruders
Faceless forms escaping the cracks
Fragmented thoughts severe my nerves
my dreams are liquid red
Tears fought to amass
From thick dark voids I bled
The scalpel shines in gods sunlight
I'm on my knees again
My only gain to abuse a high
Black out until my tremors fade
A noiseless void where I awake
Vibrations in the womb, long lasting doom
Fornicated with demons in my imagination
Fell in love and birthed a butterfly
Protected it from razor laced rain
A million stems cut, bleed into the earth
My veins disconnected from soil
As I cut them and dragged myself away
The moon looks at me behind the veil of day
I get so lonely I could die
