Thoughtless froth

Thoughtless froth

A Poem by Wraith.

Black liquids draining from concrete
Heavy fuzz and gutless sludge
Wading but not concentrating
Fading and drifting into the underground
The cave has fallen in
My skin catches on its deformed spines
Feeling myself peel away
descending into its gathering night

what a great metaphor...i lived in the Bronx for my first nine years...i know that feeling of the concrete...literally...but how it is used here is excellent...how life can deform our heart and soul until we are just descending into those alleyways in the gathering nights..
the alleyways of despondency....

nice write, Wraith...
