Sludge

A Poem by Wraith.

This heaving forest collapses upon me
In thick masses of mist 
that curl from the moss
and seep between the oak 
Leaking jade and dark vein rivers
Churning below, dulled by dusk
The sludge echoes from the swamp
hitting back and forth from logs 
rhythmic transcendence  
disappeared in the fog
Vibrating below the earth 
Getting down with the rot
