Ticking

Ticking

A Poem by Wraith.

I try to voice an opinion on things that matter
but where do I start
the core of my terminal sorrow
and daily blind spots
The issues that have roots far deeper than the structure ahead

I feel like I am weighted
It is constant but those around me are channeled and oblivious
maybe I will drift in and join them
because I can't seem to express myself

The evidence is clear as day
If those I could of helped realize in years to come
Have I spread hatred and bitterness through a generation
like the seething and uncertainty we witness from past blunders
...

Will everything expire by the time we all use our minds
to breathe air into life rather than be slaves to its confines

and as you said "the evidence is clear as day"!
