I'm gone

I'm gone

A Poem by Wraith.

Exploding into midnight I am crisp burning leaves
Scattering embers that weave between the oak
a wave of warmth reaching through the congregation
Ancient autumn forest which I still stalk
The bark cascades, I could intertwine with its rough patterning
At one with the wind in as it whispers
cascading traces of dust as I remember
the kiss of the icy air and the melting in my soul
as I drifted in the peachy haze which went out to sea and dissolved

still stalking that ancient forest, i almost feel reincarnation in this...one leave becomes another, one branch becomes another...and the congregation sings each new greeting of life superimposed in a forest of existence.
