Modern age.

Modern age.

A Poem by Wraith.

Monochrome pavements leak into my brain
existence of strangest circumstance
Is this all mortality has to offer
institutionalized and mute
conventional ways of life forced upon
you must become a slave of society
whirring of machinery, buzzing unknown
clock hands tick with precision.
You are being watched
constantly recorded
none of you share my disdain
am I alone in this world?
What beneath your human skin
trying to arise from a gravitating sorrow
I am a wraith with filtered visions
I exist only within the fractures of time
I embrace eternal solitude.
