Mortal

Mortal

A Poem by Wraith.

Evolutionary desensitize
will-less slaves do plague the earth
lacklustre spirit of mortal man
Indoctrinated from the birth
Once exposed the eyes turn blind
void of responsibility
but sheep are easily led astray
like waves are pushed in stormy seas
conflicted thoughts do splurge
from the unworthy and the damned
they bring impending doom
across this beaten land.
Not one who breathes is one to trust
to survive you must adapt
confine yourself to mental solidarity
and do not then look back.

This is a mind blowing piece.
Love these lines:
"Not one who breathes is one to trust
to survive you must adapt
confine yourself to mental solidarity
and do not then look back."
