“HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII” Karin said over IM. Karin was the old demon of Mike’s. He was dorky, silly, but he was a refreshing change to Ranji.
“Hi.” Rayne replied.
“I’m Karin, who’re youuuuuuuuuuu?”
Rayne chuckled to herself as she replied “I’m Rayne. It’s nice to meet you, Karin.”
“Rayne…such a beautiful name for a demon”
“why, thank you. ^^”
“you’re welllllcooooomee! :L”
Rayne laughed to herself as she watched the computer screen.
“When I smile, I smile like this! :L” He said.
“Ok.” was all she managed to reply. She was a demon of few words unless necessary to go into more detail. She was planning on going over there tomorrow. They’d have a few hours just to themselves. She smiled about that. She loved spending time over there. Mike would nip her in various areas, she’d nip him back, and scratch him and stuff. The foreplay they enjoyed could be called “weird” but they liked it.
After talking to Karin for a few minutes, it was time for her to get offline. Amy’s damn mother was such a b***h. All she did was b***h about this and that. Her home life wasn’t as bad as it could be, but she barely had any freedom. Given she only had a few hours before she was going to go to bed, she decided to watch a few hours of TV then go to bed. After all, tomorrow couldn’t come fast enough.
Rayne opened her yellow eyes to Prayer by Disturbed. She groaned as she realized it was only 7:30. Turning on the bedside light, she picked up her phone and sent one quick message to Mike’s IM address. ‘Good morning, mon Demon Cheri. I love you.’ and it was time to start the day. She had drama this afternoon then meeting her youth group at Starbucks then making her way to Mike’s until 6:45. Her parents would be gone by then. She wouldn’t have to deal with them all day which made her happy. Once she got the day started, it went by slowly-TOO slowly- She barely had anything to do in drama, she had no service in the building and after drama, she still had an hour left before she could go to Mike’s. Finally, she was called up on stage to practice her lines. Luckily, it was her favorite scene in the whole play. In Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, she played the Clown and Sir Andrew Aguecheek. This was the scene where the Clown dresses up as Sir Topas and comes to talk to Malvolio “the lunatic” and then comes back as herself to play with his head. Rayne smiled to herself. Amy certainly had some interesting interests. She was far from sophisticated, but she liked drama, ballet, and even opera. Rayne was happy that once she finished practicing, it was time to leave. She stayed at Starbucks not long before she left to go to Mike’s. When she was finally there, she walked through the door and locked both locks as he previously told her. There he was in front of the computer as always. Shirtless. He was wearing shorts, she knew, underneath the blanket that covered only his bottom half.
She sat down, annoyed, and said, “I hate traffic.”
“Why?” he asked, looking at her.
“Because nobody knows how to drive.” she replied.
“Welcome to Texas, Love.”
She growled gently and looked at the floor.
“You gonna sit all the way over there this whole time?” he asked, noticing she was sitting about 10 inches away.
“No, just until I calm down.”
“Ah.” he replied.
After a few minutes passed with small talk and whatnot, she suddenly raised herself to her hands and knees with her head merely an inch away from his.
“Why, hello” he said.
“Hi.” she replied. “I’m calm now.” and she kissed him.
He deepened the kiss as she moved herself to where she straddled him. She moved down to bite his neck, pulling his head by his hair to one side. She kissed and bit him for about an hour before he finally decided to roll her over. They were both completely naked-except for that stubborn thong that was still hanging on her leg. After another half hour or so of him taking over, he rolled back over, allowing her to take over again. She straddled his leg and nipped him lightly in a few places.
“Hang on, Love. I need to check the computer. I have a message from mom.”
She growled gently.
“I know. Hang on.”
After 2 minutes, “she’s on her way home.” he said.
“What?” she said. “She’s not supposed to be home until 6!”
“I know. What time is it?”
“4:50” she rolled her eyes-annoyed.
“damn it.” he said as he pulled on his jeans.
She sighed heavily and pulled on her clothes as well.
That evening, Rayne was ready to go to bed. She was so tired. She got a text message from Karin telling her something wasn’t right in Mike’s body and that something was there. She was little worried and asked him a few questions, but he was so tired he went to sleep on her, so, she gave up and went to bed.
The next morning, she did her daily, boring old routine. Then, around noon, she got a text message from, she assumed, Karin. It said something about an action of orange hues watching her. ‘orange hues?’ she thought ‘I guess Karin has orange hues’ then she received another asking if her name was “Rayne” she replied “Yeah.” ‘duh’ she thought. “I am Shadow. It’s nice to meet you”
‘interesting’ she thought. ‘another demon to get to know.. joy!’ “It’s nice to meet you too” she replied. After talking to him for about an hour he told her he was going to talk to her later. That was fine with her. He was very serious and quite boring. Later on, Shadow told her he and Mike had been talking about killing off the other 2 demon’s inside Mike’s body and Mike. “two?” she asked. “Yes, Karin and Raven.” he replied. She hadn’t yet met Raven so losing him wouldn’t hurt her one bit. As for Karin, he was very immature and dorky. A bit TOO immature and dorky for her taste. So, she was fine with it. However, getting rid of Mike would tear her to pieces. Amy too. “Do I have a say in this?” she asked. “of course you do.” he answered. “in that case, kill off the demons, but keep Mike around. Do kinda what me and Amy have done- the demon take over and the human come out on occasion when needed.”
“that’s fine with us. We will take care of them later on tonight.” relief flooded her. Shadow was nice, but too serious. She asked to talk to Mike and expressed her concerns about Shadow’s lack of humor and how Mike was like her dark savior from him if he didn’t grow a personality. Mike’s very annoying, short answer was “Ah, I see.” ‘you see?’ Rayne thought. ‘humph! You see. Screw you.’
Once they finished their conversation, Shadow came back on the line. Being untalkative and boring as he was, Rayne went to bed quickly.
