The Treacherous DeepA Poem by K. S. CookBirth in the Form of Terza RimaThe Trecherous Deep By: Kaitlyn Cook (Birth in the form of Terza Rima) There is only so
much that one can weep, when another enters
the room. Beware when you
emerge from the trecherous deep. Emerging can put you
in potential doom, when lights and
sounds are suddenly amplified, Beware when warmth
is shrouded in gloom. Truly you would
think someone had died, with the way
everything falls silent, Beware the silence
before voice is tried. Cold then warmth
would make any violent, Beware again when
the delivery room is silent. © 2018 K. S. Cook |
