Stormy

Stormy

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Sometimes drifting away
Sometimes holding on
The thing we have is pulling me apart
I love you, but I can't get hurt
Never again
I want to trust and not be betrayed
A melody and countermelody ringing in my ears
Tempting but deceitful
lovely but deadly
Stressing me out, but calming me down
A calm before the storm
Am I calm or am I raging
Guilty and full of regrets
Take the key, don't leave
Making me calm from my storm
Our love is dangerous to me
So why does it hurt when I tell myself no?

This one was very emotional, I could easily relate to this. Lovely but deadly hah, could hit an emotionless soul. How are you now?

Relationships. Yes they can bring turmoil. Stormy one minute, calm the next. Your lines conveyed the contrasts well. And the solution? Now that is hard to fathom.
