Don't Shoot the Messenger

Don't Shoot the Messenger

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Trying to tell you the message
Don't shoot the messenger
Trying to tell you the science
Tell you how I feel
Show you I'm valid

How the world for me is an ocean
How it's suffocating me
How I'm drowning underneath
Every time they say she

I'm human
I'm normal
No, I'm not some freak
Why can't I just be me
Don't shoot the messenger

I'm just me

I'm glad you liked it and I hope to hear more from you.
The Spartans threw the Persian messenger down a well. Times probably haven't changed much. Probably best to let them figure it out on their own.
