Reasoning

Reasoning

A Story by Ace Jaxon
"

A reason to why I was gone.

"
The reason I was gone so long is simple but terrible. This past June my father passed away and my state of mind has been terrible to the point where I may need medication. None of this is a joke and I don't want to be asked how I am doing because it makes me frustrated. I miss my father dearly and if I want to talk about it I will if I don't then I simply won't. To top it off I've had to move far away from my friends and my father's side of my family. Right now I may or may not decide to continue writing but as my old bad instructor once told me, "We can never make art until we've had our hearts broken. Whether from a relationship, a friendship, or a family member." I take his words into consideration everyday. I also have learned that life and death are a very serious thing this I have been constantly reminded of. Thankyou for reading and if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

In my experience, this is how things go. Creative folks feel more deeply than others and have to process adversities in certain ways. I think your old bad (bald?) instructor may be right.
