Gone

Gone

A Poem by Ace Jaxon
"

You left in May, on the seventeenth. Lost forever by your own defeat. A poem to a friend whose long gone. Lost in time, forever..

"

The moment you left

Is where I felt the most dread

Knowing it wasn’t by someone else's hand

You took your own life away

The day before my birthday

Although, you didn’t know

It’s alright though

If you come back to this world in any form

I hope we meet and settle the score

Only you won’t feel dread, like I have

You’ll always by happy instead

Your smile, saved in images on my phone

Forever silent, your voice has no tone

Don’t take it away again, not by your own hands

Stay awhile with me this time around

Please don’t let yourself drown
