Dead Sand

Dead Sand

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Child talking to her dolls

Sand drifting in the room

Slowly destroying peace

Drowning out her cries

Dead just like last time

Mother hears the door close

Rushes to open the locked window

Punching the glass, praying

Holding onto hope too late

Death meets both

Life lets go

Peace remains

Support from no one

They die alone

Sorrow has no place to go

Death meets both. (Not meats)
This poem is very emotional. I loved the last stanza above all.
