Flawed

Flawed

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Flawed and torn

My skin a river that burns

Wanting a way outside

Lost in what others call suicide

Always easier to face yourself

Mirror, mirror about to fall

What’s the difference in it all

Am I just here to play along

Mindless games not my fun

Worry warts start to form

Yelling down the stairs

From the front door

Scared to leave my home

Afraid to see the one

The one who makes me cry

The one who stabbed my arm

One lovely person who can’t do harm

Lies, oh lies my head hears

Never again trust allowed

Gone my soul far away

Grace so far and out of place

Flawed I am, just like you

Not everything is meant to be perfect. Sometimes imperfections are perfectly designed.

Which, is why human's frown upon their own flaws, and look at other's like they are perfect.

Thank you.
Not sure what is being described here, but the pacing is arresting and the imagery riveting. Good work.
