Internal Wound

Internal Wound

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Wanting to start again

Littering my arms and hands again

Black and Blue a perfect contrast for such fair skin

Those words you said, left in my head

The grenade you let me feel

No time for I’m sorry today

Let me fly at dawn

Away with the geese in winter

Unlike them I have no home to return to

Fighting about which road to follow
