Good Old Days

Good Old Days

A Poem by Ace Jaxon
"

A poem about the good old days.

"

As a child, I was unafraid

Ready to take on the world

Walking barefoot down town

In the dirt I jumped in, I was homebound

The good old days, they called it

I say not!

Good days now, and good days then

Child’s playing in the sand

Lost in the clouds

Laughing at the flowers

Fun and games all around

Happiness is where the birds are found

Flapping wings with dancing flowers

Fun never ended in the good days

I enjoyed the read, it made me reflect on my childhood which was very happy. Yes there were good old days then, but there are also good days now, Happiness is what you make it. It can be found in the smallest of things as you have indicated in your poem. Nature always brings me happiness as do my family.
