Shouts and Screams

Shouts and Screams

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Flower, so fair

Beauty, with no compare

You shout to me, “Don’t leave me here!”

I stare at your crimson stained hair

I shout back into the air, “This is all unfair!”

So you leave me there

All alone, and scared

I say my regrets in the silent prayer

You stop and turn

And give a sudden glare

I look to you, and smile

You say to me, “This doesn’t compare.”

My smile fades, and I nod

I understand you are at lost

I’m going now at a sudden bliss

I’m tired of all your thoughts

You tell me you’re sad

You say to me that you care

And all I do is stare

You never cared

The lies on your mouth

The lies cause me doubt

“I’m sorry!” is all I shout
