Goodbye Anger

Goodbye Anger

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

The anger you hold

It hurts me dear

I can’t help

Hatred, oh how it burns your heart

Right now you may not see

But now you can hear

Anger, it's knife you hold

Hatred, it lies within your soul

I have nothing more to say

Except, to heal your broken heart

Let me leave, let me go

Nothing more will I ever know

Falling down, that’s all I need

I need to be the dirt

Allow yourself to trample

Just don’t be the one to hurt

Take it out on me

Let me scream, just please

No more of this fight

No more tonight
