Play of Fools

Play of Fools

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Just another reject

Another tear in the curtain

Just a new fake smile

Rejected for nothing

Hoping for an answer

The twisted grins

Another reaction on display

I’m done with this game

Torn apart, enough to hurt

Given up, can’t play the part

The fool, I’m no queen

The pageant of lies among me
