A poem of love and heartbreak

What was once there is gone

The spark of the fire we had has burned out

At least I’m still breathing

I’ll keep fighting till the end

Afterall you may have left me

Though I’ll always love you

My eyes have someone new

I may feel pain, but this someone new has felt it to

I’ll try to speak with them when I can

I’ll try not to break again

I may be in your dusk, but in the end you’ll only be some girl I meet

I thought your love would by my protection

I shared my life with you

I gave my first kiss, only to be left behind like this

You’re an angel, I’m your devil, and you tried to fly with me

But I ended up crawling at your feet

So you kicked me away and said so long

I responded with a

I will always love you
