A lovely thought

Quickened breaths  

Stutering words

Funny jokes

Someone just like me

But yet so different

I try to speak

But all that comes

Is jumbled letters

As a blush occurs

I try to hide

They try as well

Two hearts

Two minds

One thought

A thought so lovely

A thought so sound

A thought of maybe

A thought you’ll find out

My words start to slur

My jokes no longer funny

Yet at the end you always laugh

I wish I could say

I wish I could say a lovely thought
