with all due respect, this is a thanksgiving prayer about a four legged relative, and I LLLOOOVVVEE it by the way, and, of course, i have to call it like i see it. this is a cherokee prayer, and yes, all of our relatives go to heaven. are there eveil puppies that go to hell? i could not even imagine such! :P I miss my pup hawkeye, a/k/a chooch, half chihuahua, half terrier, completly my friend. forever. :( in heaven! :)

they sure do go to Heaven .. all puppies ... i love my dog so much! there is nothing we can do to repay the steadfastness, protection, affection warmth and comfort that our pets bring to us .. those without pets just can not know .. i am sorry you are grieving the loss .. God bless you! :{
