i like how this figure depicts something mischievous and a little bit...evil probably. i somehow think it's that one figure you can actually befriend with. i like the poem. i just failed to interpret it from my point of view. forgive my narrow imagination.

Thank you for your interpretation, the poem can be about a ghost telling a person that they can read their mind while trying to scare the person into thinking that they can control the person as their will if they don't comply or else they can whisper into the person to imagine what they decide to whisper with the purpose to deviate the person imagination while asleep dreaming something as that.

If an invader assaults your dreams then they are part of the dream.....and dreams navigate without assistance! Very thought provoking!

Interesting point from here "dreams navigate without assistance!" it could be interpreted as a door opportunity for ghosts that can read minds to infiltrate themselves in persons dreams behind their knowledge.
