Enchanted

A Poem by SquinklaPsyOps
"

En Cantar

"

White unicorns cross and jump non-stop
Towards the narrower side of the street
If you look at the sign you will see
A fairy princess working in a blue dress
It seems that she only rises
When the elves cross
Towards the castle at the end of the street
Right there where the heat is
Imagine mermaids on the moon
With Sparks painting the stars
And dancing princesses with scented dresses flying
In a blue coach
The dragon of the castle is sad and in a very bad mood
Is his crazed fire which feels warm
And the witch neighbor might seek a remedy
Because the fire does not cool down
Could spend her life with that giant
That everybody fears
And if I go touch her magic wand
She says she is only human.

Wow, okay, beautiful photo for a beautiful poem! Imagine mermaids on the moon...What a wonderful line! Mermaids of Mare Tranquillitatis. Where does this stuff come from, you speak of? I think it could be a very great thing if you secretly are speaking of the sky, but with mythological and fantasy characters.

This is cute. I like the fairy tale theme....reminds me of when I was little. Good job!

This feels a bit Dada to me, only more coherent. I'm not sure about this section

"The dragon of the castle is sad and in a very bad mood
Is his crazed fire which feels warm
And the witch neighbor might seek a remedy
Because the fire does not cool down"

it doesn't flow as well as the rest, other than that I like the imagery it you've put my head :)

"Imagine mermaids on the moon

"Could spend her life with that giant

I like the dream/painting like imagery of this poem. I also like the story it tells and the story that I believe this piece is hiding.
While reading it, I got the odd feeling at some parts that they were metaphors.
Well, great job! ^^

Fantasy poetry is rarer than I would like it to be, so I was very excited to read this. It's got some lovely imagery and it just sparkled with magic. Great job!
