love the reference to the Raven... an omen... certainly poetry is a bit of this representation but i must take exception with being scripted... poets bring to light all kinds of human darkness... poets shine a light on human courage and positive attributes.. poets aspire to do this in unique, provocative, humorous, biting, satirical ways... i think your poem is powerful... it demands a response... the last 5 lines are exquisite.. nice work says i

Ahhh, excellent!!!! I want to quote every line for each was nicely written. Indeed we "dream and write what cannot and will never be" and we "walk the world in words". The former makes me remember the random moments when words would scramble themselves in my head and they would compel me to jot them down. Poets are forever haunted by this. :x

Hi, fellow writer M. G. Smith, thank you for asking and for reading the tribute poem.
Sabe is the most secret language ever written, it has so many combinations and difficult to decypher. For example sabe in spanish signifies to know or to taste, when written in poetry style signifies when persons eat words and they taste those words then they know what those words signify.

Raven Poets ? I am reminded of Edgar Allan Poe as I read this, especially, "crumbling Earth." Let us hope as a society we can rebuild the parts that have crumbled so we may have a more beautiful and bountiful world for our ancestors and kindred spirits to follow. :)

It makes sense, our ancestors that built the vehicles we drive, our ancestors that built the blue prints of the buildings we live in. our ancestors that wrote the books for us to learn from and sometimes we forget to thank them. Excellent valuable interpretation dw, thank you.

UBetcha. I just hope to live to see a future where combustion engines are finally retired. Terrible waste of Earth's limited resources when we have so many more infinite ones available to us. Wind, solar, geothermic, and water.
